Publisher and Editor-In Chief

Glenda Swain is a nationally recognized leader in career development, talent strategy and diversity and inclusion.

 

She currently serves as Senior Vice President of Employee Community at Wynn Resorts, where she leads initiatives focused on employee engagement, workforce development, and community partnerships.

 

In this role, she created the Wynn Resorts HBCU Graduate Management Training Program, an innovative pipeline program designed to provide graduates a pathway into leadership roles at Wynn Resorts.

 

Swain is also the Publisher and Editor-in-Chief of PIVOT Magazine, the premier career development publication for African American corporate and business professionals.

 

With an extensive background in corporate leadership, Swain previously served as Director of Talent Acquisition at The Coca-Cola Company, where she led recruitment for the company’s North America Foodservice, Hospitality, and Retail divisions—its largest customer-facing organizations.

 

Earlier in her career, she worked in the automotive industry with two of the Big Three automakers (Ford Motor Company and Chrysler), focusing on diversity and inclusion initiatives and talent development within manufacturing and engineering organizations.

 

Swain is also the President and CEO of The PIVOT Foundation, a nonprofit organization dedicated to preparing students at HBCUs for successful careers through career readiness training, and virtual professional development workshops designed to help students effectively transition from the classroom to the workplace.

 

She holds a Bachelor of Science in Economics from Grambling State University and a master’s degree in labor relations and human resources from Michigan State University.

 

She is a Diamond Life Member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated and she is also a member of the Dogwood City (GA) chapter of The Links, Incorporated.
